Rogue Data
A downloadable game
Rogue Data is a project I began in order to dig deeper into more complex games compared to my very first project Lonely UFO. The goal was to make a battlesystem similar to the Megaman Battle Network series, featuring an classic rpg style ability system.
For the coding part I decided to go data-oriented instead of object-oriented using Entitas an Entity Component System Framework, after watching talks about it on Unite Europe.
With this project I also made first experiences in working and creating 2D art, skeletal animation using Anima2D, particle effects and shader based visual effects.
